norton antivirus query

i have norton antivirus software (4.05) on my pc and the live update is not working, it is calling a number that is not being recognised. Does anyone know of another way to get a live update for this version?

I have the exact same problem, Elaine, and I now use the Norton Intelligent Updater referred to by j2buttonsw all the time - another advantage being it is updated more frequently than Autoupdate too. Very handy.

Interestingly, we have had a lot of problems with the liveupdate and the NAV corporate edition which was cured by running a schedule containing this: "C:\Program Files\SAV\VPDN_LU.exe" /s
