Sizes

Now I've always thought of myself as a medium sized woman - 14/16 seems about average. However looking for a short hooded jacket on-line today gave me a bit of a shock. Apparently I'm between a Large XX and a Large XXX.

Small - size 6
Medium - size 8
Large - size 10
X Large - size 12
XX Large - size 14
XXX Large - size 16

Either they size differently or I need to go on a strict diet ha ha

I think they must size differently. It sounds like American sizing.

I too am about 14/16 and I usually consider myself a medium but I have to opt for large to fit the chesteroonie in.

Sizes vary from shop to shop. I have clothes in size 8, 10 and 12.

I'm an 18 in tops in Primark !

To think I'm at least 12 on the bottom is crazy.

I think it depends where the garment is made. The Italian range is cut quite generously while the Asian makes skimp on material.

This is why it is so difficult buying clothes online. Chinese sizing is ridiculous. I'm a british 12 which apparently in Chinese sizing is XL

Arrrgghhh...tell me about it. I've been looking at coats this past week...and feel the labels mean nothing. My clothing ranges from 10 to 14...with a few 16 shirts thrown in. It depends on the manufacturer,and I'm not a big girl. ;-)
I buy most things online...I always ask for measurements so I can compare with what I've got. So far that has worked.
