Bobby Moore Story On Tv.
7 Answers
I copied the recent 3 part series and watched it all in one go last night.
It wasn't so much the story of Bobby but of his wife Tina, it painted her in a good light and Bobby not so, it was no surprise then that the mini series was based on her book, Bobby has no right of reply due to his much too early death, there are two sides to every story.
Has anybody else seen the series, and what do you think?

My friend was a also a smalltime "wag" with her and she told us in the 80s how awful Bobby was and he had many lovers, Tina was apparently in love with him and a good wife. I felt sad for him. I met him and the England team in the late 60s and they were all very nice and respectful except Jackie Charlton who was a loveable devil! I worked in the Hendon Hall hotel, where they stayed when playing at Wembley.
