Thanks, Anne, for letting us know....Just came in from trip to Brighton, and there are a few stalls and vans offering free checks in regard to this, and think it is important that people regularly check themselves over, to see if they spot anything that could be sinister, and go and see their GP straight away....could be the difference between finding something early and getting it treated before it gets worse or ignoring it which could cause a problem.
We have lost many family members and friends to a form of cancer, and being aware of it and checking yourself regularly is the right thing to do.

Yes, thank you, Anne.....On the mend now... appetite back to normal, as that was driving me crazy. Doing light exercises, a bit of swimming, and a spot of walking, especially along the sea front promenade.
Back to gigging next weekend, which I can't wait for, and DJ mates covering for me in the meantime, and also arranged yesterday with my radio station boss to return on Monday week, which I'm also really pleased about.

Thanks for asking, Anne, and for giving me tips on recuperating on my threads in B&S.... it's greatly appreciated :-) x

It does, Anne......and don't put your head in the sand either.....as my relative did recently and now treatment is much more invasive and the outcome not looking so good....

Found a 'Lump' a good few weeks back, saw Doc same day, had to wait 7 weeks for a scan, then 4 weeks later chased the Surgery for Scan results. Doc rang me back later while we were all in the car, on Hands Free, when he said it was absolutely nothing to be concerned about a large Cheer went up, he must have wondered what was going on ;o)
