This sort of shaming thing may well work in a small close community, but in today's larger urban areas I think it's more likely to anger, and make someone go down the path of anti establishment anti authority and feel no part of the community, for life. In the article I believe it was visitors to the area being shamed. So any anger is less relevant as they are...

This sort of shaming thing may well work in a small close community, but in today's larger urban areas I think it's more likely to anger, and make someone go down the path of anti establishment anti authority and feel no part of the community, for life. In the article I believe it was visitors to the area being shamed. So any anger is less relevant as they are unlikely to return there and be a less than ideal citizen.
