what kind of sense of humour do you have?
Can you laugh at anything?
Theres jokes that I laugh at that some of my friends find offensive. Theres some jokes my friends laugh at that I find juvenile. Can you laugh at tragedy or things that have affected you personally? How funny do you find jokes that are now seen as unPC? (think Bernard Manning).
Thanks.

Thanks Mamy, I felt like a right tool for a minute there, lol.
My dad died 17 yrs ago but I can still laugh at some of the jokes about him been in a wheelchair (which he made about himself mostly).
Exactly and that works.
When my mum was ill with cancer in her brain we used to laugh about the strange things she said or did. It was the only way to deal with it at the time. As things got worse it wasn't funny anymore.
I still find some kind of humour in dark situations. I don't like comedy in racism or sexism.

Clover, just curious here but why don't you like racist or sexist jokes?
They are just Jokes, not real?
I know they're just jokes, but all I can remember of people like Bernard Manning, Chubby Brown, Jim Davison et al are very unfunny 'jokes' about Indians, black people and women.
I just don't like that kind of humour.

Jokes about things that I COULD take offence at...
police,
law,
mental health,
death,
alcoholism
addiction
prison
tattoos
unemployment
depression
atheism
suicide
cripples/wheelchairs
adultery
muslims
the news
AND
not having a TV license and hailing from stoke on trent...

To be fair, coming from Stoke on Trent....well, that deserves to be laughed at ;-)
Stoke on Trent? Now that's beyond a joke!
So could I, nailit, apart from police, prison, tattoos and coming from Stoke-on-Trent.
When it comes to our own personal issues there's a huge gulf between someone laughing at you or with you.
