Last week I was curious about the white bread sandwich which the murdered man had with him as I thought white sliced was not available in the Caribbean. Apparently it is. This week the murdered man took a granary sandwich with him up to his death chamber and slices of granary bread were on the kitchen table in the hotel for the police to examine! Is this bread theme accurate? What will it be next week? Or is it the slang thing ie sliced bread = dead? Oh I know what it will be, it it will be toast! Such fun in the sun.
As I said on your other thread in Antigua you can by every bread you can buy in Tesco including baguettes, ciabatta, soft rolls, crispy rolls, croissants, white and granary, gluten free - they really are not some out of the way backwoods place!
By the way I got married at the Ocean 2 in Barbados :-))
I was tempted to post Carole Bayer Sager's 'You're Moving Out Today'. ("Your nasty habits ain't confined to bed. The grocer told me what you do with bread. Why don't you take up with the baker's wife instead?).
