Friday. Cool out, but no frost. A busy day today, some shoplifting...the trouble is they always want money. Takes all the fun out of it.:-/ then prep for friends coming to dinner tomorrow. (Herself wants to learn how to do sweet and sour pork. Should be fun.) The Gtech gallop etc. All go innit! It'll be a good day. :o}

Sunday back to being a slob again. :o}

I can't be proud of myself. I've never achieved much to be proud of!
Both my parents were very critical. I always felt like a disappointment to them. On the other hand, my sister passed the 11-plus, (they'd stopped doing it by the time I got to that age), went to a Public School, then on to Uni. She was a fake ar-slicker towards my parents, so they always believed her to be the better one. My Mum said that I was always TOO honest, then in the next breath she'd accuse me of lying. I've always told the truth unless it would hurt someone. I'm very unlucky generally and misunderstood.
Can we change the subject, please? I can't take compliments and I don't like too much attention!

It's only this last year that I have learn't to appreciate me for being me.

I agree, Oz. I'm getting to the point now where I just answer people back, in quite 'flowery' language when I'm in the mood.
In the words of a very drunk George Harrison, "I don't care anymore!" - it's on the B-side of Ding Dong Ding Dong, I think. If it's on youtube, it's worth a listen just for the laugh at his drunkenness and the lyrics. I gather it was another song about Patti Boyd, after she'd run off with Eric Clapton!

A late good morning/ afternoon waterman & everyone! Ooh, it's like Naturewatch! Friday, finished my shift, pub lunch, 6 Manchester darts off the Piccadilly food market for family. Bought my mum a mask of the queen, apparently she's a look alike, hope she finds it funny ! :0)
