// David Cameron has revealed details of his plan to resettle thousands of Syrian refugees who have fled the country's civil war, with the Government preparing to accept up to 20,000 from camps near the border by 2020.
He said Britain would take in vulnerable refugees only from camps in the region //
Almost as soon as the ink was dry on that pledge, the Conservatives began to back track. The 20,000 quickly became a few thousand. The 3,500 child refugees turned out to be a few hundred.
People who are complaining are justified and not moaners. If the Government say they will do something, and then don't, then they deserve all the criticism they get.
This is just like their pledge to get immigration down to the tens of thousands, and then they let in DOUBLE the number of immigrants that Labour let in.
If Governments do not honour their pledges then why should we believe anything else they say?
