Hi, Paddy.
Do you have a Miner's Eccles safety lamp? I have Dad's and I've polished it today and would like to light it. What can I use as fuel in the reservoir?

Lamp oil, a refined form of paraffin

Ordinary Paraffin ( Kerosene) is the closest you will get now.
