If a patient who had been taking 20mg Furosemide pd had their prescription changed to 60mg plus 100mg Spironolactone pd, how long would it take to have some affect?

For what reason are you taking the diuretics?
What do you mean by effect?
Have you got swollen ankles (oedema), why has you medication been changed.
I am guessing that you mean how long would it take to increase your flow of urine, and that would depend on the "state" of you kidneys, in which case with adequate kidney function, one should see an increase in urine output within hours at the most.
Sorry it is a "waffly" answer, but i have had little to go on.
