They did the strangers on a train thing .Each one of them killed another ones abuser .
So Colin killed Marion's father,Marion killed Walker and Sara killed the scots chap ,the scout leader or whatever he was ,who was Colin's abuser.

The only thing to add to Shaneystar post is the possibility that two people did each murder, Colin and Sara to do Marion's father making it easier to hang him from a tree. Colin and Marion to kill Walker having to carry his body to a canal and Marion and Sara to kill the scots guy and get to a boat and back.

No, different story line. Worth a watch.

I never saw the first series and watched this with no problem.. Towards the end I got the impression that the Nicole Walker character could have also been a victim of abuse in her early life, not connected to this case.

Horselady, I think she knew what her husband was up to ( Walker) felt guilty? Same with Marion's mother, who turned a blind eye. If they had spoken up from the start, would have saved a lot more heartache.
