They are hideous but imagine giving your Great Aunt Ethel a drink of tea in one..........that would be funny.
Tilly.....my family suffers from essential tremor which gets worse with age......I won't be giving any Great Aunts tea in one of these!...☺
It's just a bit of armless fun, no need for a storm in a teacup.
It's only the price which deters me, otherwise I would buy one for all the old biddies in my sheltered housing complex. Clearly a cock-up (intended) on the manufacturing front but surely a cheek to charge twice the going rate.
Remember those party ring biscuits, with pink icing on the top? You could hang a couple of those from the arms. Then you wouldn't have to was up a biscuit plate.
They look odd because they are in the box but they have another arm at the back and don't look so bad when they are put together http://www.sainsburys.co.uk/shop/gb/groceries/sainsburys-valentines-hugging-bear-mugs-set-of-2-130864077-p
For extra realism you could attach a couple of Ferrero Rocher.
Good idea, Tilly.....or even a ring doughnut......not a jam one though....that'd dribble....x
The Ferrero Rocher would melt, Jackdaw!

Oh, yes, Gness. We don't want dribbles, especially as they are hand wash only.
They are only for a bit of fun, I won't be buying them though.
If this was my thread Jackdaw, I'd give you BA !
^ At 12:55 ...
Well, I have just been to Sainsbury's and they are not on sale in our local branch.
Do you think they have sold out Tilly ... ?
Maybe, HereIam. I didn't like to ask in case they thought I wanted to buy them.
You could have said they were for Sunny-Dave, Tilly......☺
Ha ha Tilly ...
They look quite cute out of the box. Not something I would buy though.
Oh you mucky minds, I see sausages !!!!!!
