My vicarious enjoyment of programmes following the lives of British couples/families,in 'The wilds'of Alaska,Indonesia,Deserted Islands,etc.is as far as it goes.

Has anyone here tried it,or making plans to..or know someone,out in the Wilderness?

Could you'hack it',or is the idea'bonkers'...Could you 'turn your hand'to Shooting/Trapping..Skinning and Butchering your own food?

I guess,for a lot of ABers,lack of Internet connection,would be the 'Deal-breaker'!

I wouldn't have wanted to even if I was 40 years younger. I like my home comforts too much.

you can get internet connection in 'the wilds' . You get it by satellite.
