I often miss parts of dialogue on tv so am accustomed to having the subtitles on. For live instant translations which must appear automatically it is hilarious what can come up. The trouble is that it happens so quickly I can't recall these to give an example. But do any of you know what I mean?
I was watching the cricket one day and the commentator said "Alastair Cook will be wanting more runs." The was subtitled as "Alastair Cook will be wanting morons."

The subtitles on the BAFTA tonight were terrible, as they cant keep up, and also the News.
The TV company's also say they cant do subtitles on catch-up, as they are too difficult to insert, crazy?
On Amazon, with the Fire-stick they are perfect, all the time for some reason.
