cancer in dogs

we have a 3 year old mini schnauzer dog that as been diagnosed with lymphoma / actually more like leukemia.i am trying to find out how long he could possibly live,he's still bright and springy at the moment,Any help would be very kind.

It doesn't have the same result as humans in that they don't lose their hair etc and seem to keep quite well during treatment. I do remember they said that the chemicals they use on dogs is very poisionous indeed to people and when giving it ,the people had to be really careful not to get the stuff on their skin. The dog came out the other side of the treatment 100% cured. I remember being quite impressed at the time as they said that most dogs can be treated for leukemia, not like people. Probably best to ask your vet about it. I hope your little dog gets better.
