I'm setting up a midweek kids club at my local church. The age is from 5-8 and we will be doing all kinds of games and activities. The problem is I've never worked with this age group before! We are starting next week and I'm running out of ideas for our first week. Does anyone have any suggestions???

Thank you!!!

There is an advert currently running on TV in which the voice over ends announcing ‘Always keep away from children.’ - I believe this to be very good advice.

Having ignored this advice, I offer this advice which I would strongly recommend you heed – safety of the children under your charge should be your number one priority.

Ensure that there are sufficient adults to oversee the activities of the children; make sure that they cannot wonder off unsupervised.
Should some injury befall any of the children under your charge, it is unlikely their parents will be very happy.
