Should i put a little note in his bag?

My 10 ys old son is going away with school tomorrow for 4 days and i was thinking about putting a little note in with his clothers just saying i love you hope your having a great time etc for him to find but my friend says not to as the other kids may see it and tease him what do you all think

i did that first time my eldest went away with the school, he was around that age, hes 15 now .Yes do it if you want to, itll be nice for him to find it.Put it somewhere only he can find it.aaaaahh thats so sweet !! arent we softies.

I think its a lovely idea!....definately hide it somewhere though, coz if his friends find it he'll be eally embarassed!!

Lovely idea. Too late now as he will have already gone, but if you want to do it another time and don't want to embarrass him in front of his mates, you could try including a little joke or riddle that he can share with them.

I did that when my daughter was about 8. She went away with the school. I think they feel reasured that they are going to be missed.
