Please help with 6 down.Clue is: Couple ending up with one letter.3 letters. I have P?I.I can't decide if it's PHI or PSI or something else.Many thanks.An explanation would be appreciated.

I can see your answer Jo, like I can see the other also. I'm glad I'm not doing that crossword - it is a poor clue when two alternatives can be correct.

:-) - anax can't/wouldn't answer prize puzzle queries (especially his own), but I'm convinced there's no ambiguity, it's 'pHi'
