Memory Full On Sony Xperia L

I have a Sony Xperia L phone, I can no longer load any Apps because it says I do not have enough space.

I haven't many apps most of what I have were preloaded when purchased the phone from new.

Here are my figures
Device Memory Total Space 1.57GB
Available 143MB
Apps 1.18GB
Cached Data 35.65MB

Internal Storage Total Space 4.01GB
Available 2.68GB
Apps 87.88MB
Pictures, Videos 356MB

Audio, Music,Ringtones 416KB
Downloads 22.72MB
Cached Data 193MB
Misc. 733MB

I also have a SD card, Total Space 3.79GB
Available 3.11GB.

My Music and Photos are on this card.

Please can anyone help me out, so that i can load some wanted Apps and update others?

Would it hurt to clear Cached Data?
