Interview Outcomes

I have had 2 interviews over the past month and none of them seem to have got back to me regarding the outcome. I had one interview late January and one earlier this month. Both companies have not yet got back to me despite chasing them up a couple of times. The response i had on the latest interview this month was "we're waiting for an update". Its so frustrating as I am anxious to know i have the job or not !

The other thing is between these interviews, I had another interview for a company and I have actually got the role and start next week. Out of the roles and the interviews I have been to, this role that I start now, is actually my least favorite one. This is why I am so anxious to find out about outcome of the other 2 roles. Would to think i should assume that the previous roles are now filled and I should give up hope ? It might be my least favorable roles of the the 3, and I now have the job, but I cant help thinking about the other 2 ?

I'm no expert, but I think i'd assume that if I hadn't heard back from either of the companies by now that you won't do at all- sorry.

Take the third job and keep looking.
