I got significant hestitation on acceleration, between 1600 and 2000 revs, particularly 2nd and 3rd gears. Changed timing belt and injectors, but only made slight difference. Car done 60,000 miles, 1998 model.

Have you tried the Diesel Pump itself, they can be troublesome. If its hesitating it could be that. Gary

hi change your diesel filter sounds like engines demanding more fuel than filters delivering
you dont need to go to a vw dealer smaller garages will do the exact same job that u wud want vw to do and at a fraction of the price! these days smaller garages invest in diagnostic computers that caters for a range of makes and models
