As far as I can see baza,Gala Pie is just a posh name for Pork & Egg Pie.Waitrose hedges their bets by calling theirs Pork & Egg Gala Pie,quite where the Gala bit came from I cannot see.It all eats the same!

My butcher used to sell slices from a large pie, he then switched to pre wrapped which tasted rather bland.
