How do I copy VCR holiday tapes into my PC so that I can edit it and add audio dialog . I know I will need software. I am based in Nottingham U.K. Please make allowance for senior Citizens Thanks in advance

You should really find someone in your area who knows how to get this installed and working for you.

It might be cheaper for you to buy a basic dvd recorder that you hook up to your tv and video player.
Once you have copied the vcr on to disc you can download it from the disc to the hard drive for editing.
This assumes that you have a dvd player in your pc.

Dont try to do it on a 5 year old PC running Windows 98.
I think ethels idea is the best. Buy a DVD recorder and connect it up to your video player.
