I have recently bought an Olympus U700 digital camera and have successfully installed the software, but am unable to transfer the photos on to the PC. I keep getting a message that the camera is not recognised? Any advice?

Have you done a search to olympus for latest drivers?

Windows ME is little too old. But still it should not have any problem to download. check if you installed the software properly and read the mannual.

have you tride add new hardware in your control panel following the prosses and at the end of the prosses you may see a button specify location of drivers and with your disk in your disk drive specify your disk drive as the area to serch if you have tryed this sorry for waisting your time
