Can anyone recommend a good programme for live recording of what's on my monitor, in particular YouTube in full screen mode?
I have Tiny Take but it won't work in full screen - the key-press to start recording just sends the video back to the beginning. I hoped Fraps would work but it turns out it only records gaming.
I only want to record very short segments of 4-5 seconds, so don't want to actually download videos (the ones I'm referencing are often several hours long).
Top job Chris. Both installed, although Expression had me worried. Prompted me for a licence key but the purchase link didn't offer it, only telling me the software is free. Turned out I could just click 'next' and the install completed.
Need to restart the browser to try it out. That video was damned annoying! But I think I got the gist of it.
Flippin' technology. Well, it definitely works (didn't need the video in the end) but I set the framerate to 30fps and it's pants - looks more like 5! Found another walkthrough video on YouTube and the results were perfect, so it's my PC that's throwing a wobbly.
