Im about to start my degree (Graphics) an was wondering what laptop is best? Now i work at home on a pc, but in college on a mac. I wanted to buy a laptop for uni as my pc is dying an was wondering whether mac or pc is best? I know am supposed to work on a mac but a friend designer says his pc works just as good. If money wasnt an issue then id be straight there at the apple store, but this one here is only �399. http://www.pcworld.co.uk/martprd/product/seo/1 91053 What do u guys think?

The MacBook may be fine, and the MacBook Pro just packs more punch. If you can goto the Apple store and check them out; they'll have Photoshop, Illustrator, etc. installed on them for you to play with.
Also, Apple give some pretty decent student discounts, but to get the proper discount you need to buy the laptop while logged into the university's/college's network. So either wait until you're there before buying it, or if you know a friend who already has an account on a university network, order from their computer.
