If this company has never made a profit, and therefore, never paid a dividend, I am at a loss why there should be this huge scramble to buy shares ?

Perhaps FF, but it would take a huge leap in faith.
It's not space flight or the detonation of the first atom bomb mate.
No 'huge leap of faith required, just some cash lying around that you won't miss 'til it's sold again in the future

You have to speculate to accumulate.

Very few stocks are bought solely for their dividend.
Because it is used by millions and millions of 15 - 25 year olds who are hard for advertisers to reach.

Randy......so, if so many people are using Snapchat, why hasn't it making any money ?
I have no idea, it has 158million daily users, it should be making money.
