Do we really need this party any more?

http://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/politics/paul-nuttall-loses-his-temper-with-andrew-marr-over-hillsborough-accusations-a7612286.html

From public punch-ups, Hillborough lies, 18 days leaders to a morass of irrelevance - do we actually need them now that we are moving out of the EU?

No why should they? If they are still managing to rattle the nerves of the leftie liberals, then that is a good enough reason for their existence.

Keep up your good work UKIP.
With Labour having gone AWOL for a fair while there is a vacancy for a genuine opposition party. UKIP, however, won't be it - they were a single-issue party whose main reason for existance will shortly disappear. They have the problem that "Getting out of the EU" will have attracted a wide range of supporters, of every political stripe, these same people won't be able to unite behind the range of policies needed if UKIP are to continue as a full alternative to the Conservatives, Labour etc. I would place them in the same position as the SNP, they gathered support while the message was relevant to people, but that support will soon die away once the main issue is resolved.
