Tonight's episode felt like a totally different programme to Benidorm.
Ouldnt relate to anyone really. The new family that has been brought in to replace the Garveys are an embarrassment. They have even brought in a very inferior Madge substitute. It is such a pity as it was a very popular programme.
I think Jacqueline is just ageing now that's why she looks different. I agree with you about the Madge substitute and after last night I won't be watching anymore. It no longer makes me laugh.
Caran - I was channel-surfing and caught about two minutes of the show - but I am able to answer your question - Jacqueline was supposed to have been collected from the airport by the large gay gentleman, but apparently he forgot, so she was reduced to making the trip on foot, which took about eight hours, including a brief lift for which she 'gave the driver something for his trouble ...'
I think Benidorm is going to be disjointed this series as Tim Healey (Les) became very ill within a week or two of the start of filming and Derren Litten had to rewrite a lot of scenes on the hop.
It's a shame as it used to be a refreshing change from all the doom and gloom and was all a bit of a light hearted Carry On type of programme. If they bring more of the old cast back it could be rescued
