I have to now think seriously of taking bath out and putting in a walk in shower. Anybody know roughly how much it would cost.

sit at end of bath corner with legs facing tap
put one leg in bath (only bending at 90' needed if sitting )
and then put other leg into bath
and lift self up using pole
I thought of putting a viddie on you tube ( wearing a suitable fat boyz cozzie of course ) showing this as no one seems to know

Our friends had their bath taken out and a big walk in shower (nearly the length of the bath) installed. It took one man two days, wouldn't stop for a cup of tea or a break, (Polish!) the firms van came to take everything away, lovely job, it cost £3,000, exactly what they quoted. Couldn't believe it when I saw £500! This was last summer by the way :0)

oh and then get the flooring done when needs be - it will be a finished job. yes, nephew (when he gets here bless him) we will have a wee talk - i will ask him if it is too much for him and whether i should get another plumber = between him and me we will get some thing worked.
forgive me for repeating = but hope "new tiles" that have to go on - will have same size but light grey with a sparkle - that'll please mme. no hurries.
