You are obviously computer literate - my local college does very cheap courses in IT, from word processing to web design. You'd all have a common interest and be able to exchange skills / tips.
How about a totally new skill that you've never tried? See what evening classes are available to you - cake making, car maintenance, learn a language. Something different to how you see yourself.
I think I already suggested voluntary work - nothing too taxing. Perhaps a few hours in a local charity shop.
I wish you all the best.

I have a wide range of friends from diverse backgrounds. The majority of these have been gleamed from Nigh Classes and "charity work". The latter being mainly from my hospital volunteer days (staff and patients) and from the Samaritans. Both very humbling activities, makes you much more acceptable of other people and more grateful of your pwn lot. Good luck
You can try the new skill line - dancing or something similar, or find a club which supports your interests eg if you like real ale then join your local branch of CAMRA, or if you like history then a local history society. Your local library should have a list of groups which meet locally which may help.
