Went to my blood test.

All was fine chatting to the nurse in between deep breaths.

Should have seen the measly dribble of blood that's been sent away. Nurse said vein was good didn't collapse it flowed and BAM it stopped!

Might have to go back...but it definitely made me laugh!

Happy Friday and Happy St Patrick's Day guys x

I am glad you were able to laugh. I can be like that, I have a blood test done every month, sometimes it flows other times nothing comes out.

Happy Friday and Happy St Patrick's Day to you too Queenie.
had two taken today, never makes me laugh, i'm not squeamish, just want it done and dusted.

Marval, if you had seen the mere drip she got and said she was sending you'd have to laugh. I'm exactly like that but I did say look I've been bleeding for 24 days don't blame me if you don't get anything.

I'm like that now Emmie, I'm getting better at having bloods done I just want in and out. I don't laugh either usually but today couldn't help it.

Hope you are ok though xx

Sounds like the Phlebotomist needs an updating session to me.
don't suppose your surname's Stone is it?

It's me Baldric - even the hospital struggle. I can think of 2 people who can get it no problem.

She isn't bad though. But she did ask me how much I'd drank this morning. I'd only been up an hour.

Haha no it isn't Stone - but it should be I'd reckon.
I know the feeling, the doctor who took my blood struggled to get veins when I went in for my op, and it was worse afterwards everything kept collapsing he had to try and put a canula in to provide more fluids - he gave up after 5 attempts and told me to drink more!!
Question Author
I know the feeling Islay! Just hope that you are doing well now though!

I was in hospital in December and was given a cannula for fluids because I had a Quinsy...when I got taken to ward I said can you take the damn thing out I can drink... they were like why did you get it in in the first place.

Hoping I don't have to go back for another test. It would appear I only have 1 vein in my arm.
