she likes Art deco style things, i got her a beautiful perfume bottle for Christmas which she promptly stashed in a drawer, in case it got stolen... can't win.

she is in early stage Alzheimer's, so doesn't have a lot going for her really, i expect the relatives will take her out to lunch, at least i hope they do. I thought of flowers, but they don't last long.

she is not aware of a lot of things now, shame that this disease can't garner a lot more research and money, in the same way that cancer charities do. Still i expect she will have a nice day for all that.
