I have never owned an i or Mac anything but I have to buy a tablet and had decided on an iPad Pro 9.7 - an expensive option!

I have now discovered that there is no official way to have a guest account on iPads - has any iPad user found a work round for this - it is essential that the tablet I buy has this facility

What didn't you know, chrissa?
It temporarily restrict iPad to one particular app it...disables areas of the screen that aren’t relevant to a task.

Thanks, Jomlett. Back to the drawing board for me, then. I need a guest facility similar to Windows and Android :(
It is available on the MacBook and MacBook Air.

Thanks, but it's specifically a tablet I need.

Are you happy with your iPad Pro? What size is it?
I'm using the iPad Pro 12.9 screen and it's awesome, I love it.
Question Author
Isn't it a bit heavy and awkward to use?
It is heavier but using the very versatile Smart Cover on my lap or desk is a dream.

Thanks for the help, Jomlett
Glad to help, hc.
Jomlett, The Smart Cover for your iPad Pro that you refer to is that the the keyboard one?

I have an ipad2 (so very old) and I am wanting an newer version & I am thinking of the keyboard also.
No the Smart Cover isn't the keyboard. Last year I had the iPad Pro 9.7 with the cover/keyboard and I liked it, but smaller then I'm used to on previous MacBooks.
