Of course a more relevant question would be what happens when the Shetlands seek independence from an Independent Scotland. Who will the oil from the latest find belong to then?
I do find it amusing that the SNP is supported in Holyrood by the Green Party (without their support they would not enjoy a majority). The Green Party wants us to stop burning things whilst the SNP rejoices in "their" fossil fuels! In fact, most things about Scotland, their "Parliament" and their quest for independence amuse me.
