wrong names!

Have you ever been in a relationship and called them your ex's name by mistake?or have you ever been called another name by your partner?Did you flip out or laugh it off????

Oh this happened to me one night!!!!!!!!! 3 times he said her name, I was furious and battered him whilst he slept, he was that p!$$ed anyway he never knew, but i reminded him later, men are such one-brain-cell gits. (some anyway)

No, but a married man I had an affair with, (long time ago, before I was married) told me that he was at a dinner party with his wife and some friends, and called her by my name!!

He got away with it, cos his best mate immediately made some joke about it, saying he had too much wine!

The irony is, I only saw him once or twice a fortnight for 3 1/2 years - so I guess I must have made an impact.

Yeah I was during a moment, as I was doing the dirty on the guy who's name was called I didn't really mind. Obviously I must have been really crap at the time for his name to come up!!!

I call my hubby by my xs name all the time , he isnt pleased at all , but its just a slip of the tounge , once infact I called his mothers house in the staes and asked for my x instead of my hubsand !! she wasnt to pleased either .
luckily I have never did this during sex , nor would I , as between you and me ..theres no comaprison .

my husband has called me by the name of his first wife TWICE!! once - on our HONEYMOON!! and once again about two months ago, when he introduced me to somebody as his "his wife...." with "her" name instead of mine. both times i just looked at him until he figured it out. he seems to feel worse about it than i do...

It happens,I was married for a long time,and now call my new girl by my ex's names occasionally,guess i used it for so long it was automatic,but she understands,so i reckon iv got a gem there.
I know of others too who do the same,no need to get uptight about it.

My hubby called me by his ex's name all the time when we first got together, as did everyone in his family. They had been together for 17 years, so I overlooked it.

He doesn't do it any more.

I call my bf by my ex husbands name occasionally, usually when tired. He has called me by his ex wifes name too.

But the one that really gets me is his habit of calling our son by his nephews name lol

I almost called my husband by my ex husbands name, as both names start with the same 3 letters..but I corrected myself quickly and it only happened once!

However, my dad calls Mr Pippa by my exs name quite often ~ it annoys me far more than it does my hubby. The good thing is that he is not alone...

Dad calls me by my sisters name (never the other way round) his sister in law gets called her hubbys first wifes name & my brother is always known by his uncles name. Confused? you will be..luckily my dad has only been married once!

Yeah,when i first got together with my hubby,we were in bed one night and he called me by his ex wifes name,i milked that one,,,but i think sometimes you say something without even thinking about what you're saying,i know i do i seem to be getting all my names mixed up at mo,,,

Well, hubby has been very good and never called me by anyone else's name but my own, however on our WEDDING day, my Mother -in- law called me by his ex-wifes name!! We had only been married about an hour!
She tried to cover it up by saying "Oh I don't mean that <insert name here> I meant another, don't even know why I said that name" I laughed it off but it did sort of upset me as it was my wedding day!
