Hi all. Thanks for the earlier replies. Got home ok but my shoulder still very painful. Went to see my doctor today. He sent me for an x-ray, suspecting what he called a subcapital fracture of the shoulder socket. Apparently this is common with skiers putting their arms out to prevent a fall. Thankfully, there is no fracture. Just muscle damage which I'm told will take 5/6 weeks. Can I add that this injury had nothing to do with the "falling down water"! I hadn't had any at this point. But I very swiftly had a large scotch afterwards! So I'm still in one piece - just about!

Did you bring us back any gifts? Maltesers? (my mum told us that is where they came from).

Keep up the pain relief, glad you're safe home.
