I suppose that it's marginally better than leaving the little brute's carp (sp) on my front lawn ...

... but am I wrong to be pretty cross that when I came to move my (only just emptied) black bin into my back passage it had already got three bags of dog poo in it?

I think the poo bags that are often seen discarded, come from the doggy people that grudgingly pick up dog poo in case they are being watched and then discarded when they can see there is nobody around and the ones hung in trees are left there on the pretence of coming back to collect them but clearly never do.

// the ones hung in trees are left there on the pretence of coming back//

Some of the ones I've seen have been about 20' up in trees.
I can't think of anything worse than poo left on the ground or suspended in bags from the trees !
What's wrong with putting the poo bags in somebody's bin if you're passing, it's a bin for goodness sakes, it's not going into your house! I always pick up after my dog, but there are very few litter bins to put it in and I'd rather dump it somewhere (not a tree!) than have to carry it around for an age ... And yes, others have dumped poo bags in my bin. I'd object if it was just poo, but it's bagged and so I don't see a problem ..
HereIam......it'll only be done when the bin is outside and empty..... then everything you put in for the next two weeks will squish it down....

If it leaks out you have a messy bin to clean.....and in the summer it stinks.....so best if folk take it home really.....x

I prefer them to be in a bin somewhere than be dangling from trees as if they are xmas decorations as dog owners can't be bothered to carry them to a bin lob them into the trees only for the rest of us discover them as autumn takes its toll on the leaves...
I use newspaper or waxy mag paper
it is biodegradable
and I think the flies should get on with it as soon as

and it is either a public bin or a hedge when no one is looking

and where I live people say as I go past
" wot he doin ven - he looks as tho he got dog poo in dat"
and I go like:
yeah it is warm dog poo
// Anywhere will do, any bin will do. Just dogs.//

yeah and like that lady and the cat.....
remember to put the poo in the bin and not the dog ....
gness - you can only smell a bin when you lift the lid, as long as they are emptied regularly, I don't care what's in them ! It's just a bin ...
