I am going slowly completely mad. I am trying to transfer a video I recorded of my friends wedding from my ipad to my computer you would think I was asking for the crown jewels I have spent the whole day at it tearing my hair out and I am no further forward. I put up an earlier question no responses. Someone said I needed I Tunes so I installed it on my laptop no problem now I try it on my ipad I get the most stupid message Unable To Sign In Your Apple ID isn't associated with a content provider in Itunes connect 2002. In English what the heck does that mean?

Download 'photo transfer app' from the Apple Store.
Have you got your lappie and ipad "authorized" in account with your apple sign in. If one was signed in, and you have had to change your password( I am always caught with that) and you have set the other up with a different password it will not sync.
iTunes Connect is software for developers, so I've no idea why you're seeing a message about it.

iTunes is horrid software anyway. (The technical press frequently slate it). Use third party app, as suggested by Z-M. Apowersoft Phone Manager is well-reviewed but pricey. However you get a free trial period with it, so it should be good enough for your needs at present:
https://www.apowersoft.com/transfer-movies-to-ipad-without-itunes.html
(Fairly obviously, you'll need to use 'Export', rather than 'Import' which is shown in the example on that website).
Without analysing the whole link Buen, will that prog. transfer "from" ipad to pc?

I have managed to download both on my ipad and laptop and I found the video I wanted and it is copying it to clipboard dare I hope this is a good sign??
^^^ The screenshot shows that there are both 'Import' and 'Export' buttons, Togo, which I take to indicate that it will work both ways round. (I'd guess that Gordie would ned to highlight the wedding video, then click 'Export' and choose a destination).
I like my itune facility Buen but it does have "limitations". I have bookmarked the link and will have an in depth look as and when.(not when I'm tiddly). I am loathe to pay for it though.
In the meantime......goooo Geordieboy.

I have downloaded it and I cant seem to view it this is so complicated it has taken up the whole of my day this is the furtherst I have got there are hardly any instructions on this site it goes to capture and then there is nothing in it a massive screen with a whole lot of options. None of which make any sense it says select download directory I dont know what it is I want to cry i feel like smashing the thing up
Both myself and Chris have told you the solution. Which is not iTunes.

I know it is not I Tunes it is this APP Called photo transfer app and Ive managed to download it on both devices and it downloaded a whole lot of photos and videos and at the moment it is downloading the video but it is taking ages. And my ipad is telling me my storage is nearly full so I am wondering if there is a link. ?? It is only 45 minutes long

Thanks for all your help everyone I dont really do technology it tends to totally stress me out but I have to do this for my friend. A local shop offered to do it for me for £25 but I thought that might a bit excessive
The file size of your video is probably around 3Gb, Gordie. That's a hell of a lot of data to transfer via a USB cable, so it's bound to take ages.

Question Author
It seems to have finished downloading but I cant seem to find the file it says select directory but I dont know what one to pick. How do I find it ?
Question Author
It is just going round in a circle like buffering will I have to wait ages to view it my patience is really ice thin
Upload it to youtube.
^^^ Uploading the video to Youtube will complicate matters if (as I believe he does) Gordie wants to get it onto his PC so that he can burn a DVD. He'd then need to download it from Youtube, which usually involves a loss of quality.

It would make more sense to upload it to iCloud
http://www.apple.com/icloud/setup/ios.html
and then download it from there to his PC
https://support.apple.com/en-gb/HT201391
Is it sorted now?
