.. to answer questions; impossible to read pages; no longer a seamless joy to try and participate.
I don't know if my answers have gone through - I frequently get a 'network error' page.
Virtually every page I go to gives me the 'network error' - sometimes (but only sometimes) when I go back onto the page, the answer has gone through; no point trying to be the fastest to answer.. by the time I get through, it's next week... ...

Clearly not, LOL. I was taught to believe that powering down then back up again solved all known problems!
Powering down and then back-up might cure some problems but Not all. Perhaps it is just coincidental that issues have arisen since AB up-dated and, as you appear to have a problem of duplication, it could be that a 'nasty' has got into your equipment.

Have you done a virus scan and a run-through with Malwarebytes.?

Whatever the position you should get a better Browser than IE. My favourite is Firefox.

I have known this problem to be caused by internet security/antivirus programs. I would check for the latest version of the program/s you are using. Not just definitions but the version of the software
