Reasons To Be Cheerful
33 Answers
It's been a naff week.
Had to have the car window fixed (mucho money)
Then the washing machine died (more mucho money)
Then I blew the fuses in the house and nearly electrocuted the fish (probably not a good idea dropping the extension cable from the lawnmower in the pond)
My new boots are too high and I cant walk in them.
BUT
it's Friday
the sun is shining
I can see goldfinches from my window
the bluetits are nesting in the nesting box
ASBO hasnt brought a live mouse/rat/mole in for two whole days
I have a bottle of Pinot chilling in the fridge for later
What are your reasons to be cheerful?

I have too, Sipo, can't remember how much by, possibly 50p.
Reasons to be cheerful? Well, sat in the summerhouse for a couple of hours sipping Moscow mules and dark and stormies, after having taken the pup for a lovely walk in the sunshine meeting lots of nice people and dogs. Scampi in the oven, along with home made chips and peas.
41st wedding anniversary on Sunday which will be celebrated by a bottle of pink Chandon and a meal we both enjoy, at home.
Hope you're doing ok barmaid x

I am off on a cruise on Sunday with my wonderful wife, seventeen days round the Med.
As soon as I come back, we have a wedding in Blackpool, and then I am straight off to cover the Cheltenham Jazz Festival for Down Beat Magazine in New York, I have a load of interviews lined up, and plenty of live music to see and review.
Life is wonderful!!

I've had a great week, bought a designer bag today for €8, googled it, it's worth, second hand around €600, more than that, I spent a lot of time with my best friend :) been on a three week shopping trip and am off to a wedding in 2 weeks, I might just bump into NoM in Dublin - I'll be there same time ;) we'll not know each other though :(
