Another Wonderful Day In A & E ...

... Mrs B had a bit of a lie-in this morning as she was late to bed last night.
Woke up about 10:00, sat up then got up all in one movement and promptly passed out bashing her head on the fixtures and fittings on the way down. she was spark-out when I got there, quick airway and pulse check then hit 3 nines. She was coming round by the time they arrived, less than 10 minutes. Was taken into Margate to be checked over, then kept in all day just to be sure.
Brought her home about ½ hour ago, seems to be ok for the moment.

Hope ur other halfs feeling better now Baldric.
When I was about 18 I visited my girlfriend in hospital. She coughed up some blood and I promptly fainted (I was queasy about blood at the time) I bashed my head on the bed end and ended up in A&E myself.

A day in Casualty is no big deal but a day in Margate must be hell.

I get lots of people who pass out in my place of work. Usually when they have been sitting for a long time in a dehydrating environment. They don't pass out when they are sitting down because you don't do that. It is when they get up to stretch their legs that they come a cropper. It's not anything to worry about though.

The last time I was in Margate(1964) Jackdaw, was a guarantee of a day in the local A&E. Haha happy days.

Once again Baldric... Ta. I logged on this morning and thought, where did those 3 BAs come from. Hope you are all as well as we are. Busy morning ordering fishing gear for the weekend. Don't tell "She who must be obeyed" but the plan is a bit of poolside time over Easter. I will be busy next week, what with a trip to see a Consultant regarding a Gall bladder op. and the guys coming to put up the new lean to 10'X8' shed. The base is down and a flashing is getting done this Saturday in readiness. Hey ho.
