Black Sheep Of The Family
18 Answers
Anyone here ever been the black sheep of the family?
Ive just about had enough.
Try as I might, I never fit in, never have done...
And before any smart Alec accuses me of feeling sorry for myself, *GO AWAY* I'm sick of hearing it!! Just want to be a part of my family....just that the feeling doesn't seem to be mutual no matter what I do.

I decided that I would go to the occasions I was invited to ( I am generally generous with gifts so expect that to be the reason!) and ignore the rest...after all I could not choose my family or them choose me. I have to admit I did wonder if my slightly unconventional ways were the reason...but have found that I don't care that much any more. I was never going to fit in with the majority but why would I change what is essentially me to fit in with some quite boring people...... just remembered that my dad would cross the road so he didn't have to speak to me!! No I don't have tattoos and only my ears are pierced!!!
Nalit you have mentioned on here yourself that occasionally you can get a bit 'belligerent' if you have been drinking.Do you think you may have a reputation in the family as as being argumentative if you have had a drink too many?
I don't know you personally of course but you have also mentioned depression and other problems, could these be the cause of the family arguement?
Sorry not trying to upset you, just saying what is going through my mind as a possible answer to your question.
