Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

I think it's probably just a comment on how long it's taken, Tilly- but if I'm wrong I am sure stevenj will give the letter count and known pattern

Sorry, yes it was just a comment on when I finished it. The problem started when SWMBO insisted I went out ( she didn't quite say " go out to play but...) because the weather was so good at the weekend. Of course, she was right ( is she ever wrong?) and I had two great days in the company of Jamie, my new pal. But then when I did start it I found I couldn't answer a single clue at first. That was a first since I started doing them and I panicked that I had somehow lost the knack. But the I got going and bit by bit I got there but it as a tough one wasn't it? Some obscure words!

Btw I DID need help, Captain2. I don't think I would ever have got " clappy doo" ( as I said, obscure words). It was simply that it had already been answered for someone else when I came on to the Answer Bank.
So thank you to those who explained that!
