Why do so many women expose a lot of flesh.? Especially if appearing on TV.

A lot of female athletes wear Bikini Bottoms , which is equivalent to men appearing with 'jock straps'. Furthermore, some Weather Girls have completely sleeveless dresses and short skirts, which make me shiver when announcing that the weather is cold and/or temperatures are dropping.

There is one weather presenter on Countryfile that always manages look as if he's interrupted his barbecue to appear on tv - jeans and rolled up sleeves.

I don't give it a seconds thought, athletes it will be for aerodynamic reasons and I wouldn't expect someone in a warm studio to dress for the weather outside.

hc...all the weather presenters on Countryfile appear in casual gear...it's a live insert into a recorded programme, and it's meant to "fit in" to the programme...they would look a bit daft in suit and tie in a show when all the others wear casual and wellies!

Having given this more thought (not all pleasant) I recall a true jock strap has no rear coverage, so for male athletes the breeze between their nates may actually slow them down.

as to the weather girls, they don't know its cold outside, if they are in doors.

Aerodynamics may have been a reason in the Ancient Olympics but I still visualise 'material flapping around'.
