I haven't eaten Hula Hoops for ages and this has put me in the mood now.

Should I go to Tesco or Aldi ?
I believe it's a similar thing with other products as well - for example TV's
Well known brands are made by a few manufacturers , and then labeled with the particular company's logo

I'll try again , that didn't covey clearly what I'm trying to say .
There are only a few companies who make TV's - the components are mostly the same .
The finished TV's are then branded with the logo of the particular company

Kellogg's proudly say they don't make cereal for anyone else.


That made me angry, when I discovered that my neighbour has some as well as me.

Lol Hopkirk. back to hula hoops I hadn't had any for years but tesco's promotion multi-pack last week were hula hoops selling at half price... I still have two packs left.

A family member once worked in a food packing factory where one day they may be packing for M&S and another day some other big name..only the bags the good were packed in were different...contents exactly the same. This has been going on for years with many products.
I find them quite tasty, I'meant that I only have two bags left.

I don't think Heinz cans tomato soup for anyone else - I've probably tried them all.
Tesco home brands on some products are to me tastier than some branded names Findus and Birdeye springs to mind.
The pastry on Tesco's hot baked stuff a la Greggs is vile though. Cludgy and insipid. Greggs beat evveryone else hands down when it comes to a steak bake.
I do like ASDAs frozen mushroom risotto though. It's delicious.
I highly recommend Aldi's Moser Roth chocolate too.
