Ok it's not confirmed yet, but looks highly likely there's been yet another atrocity in the name of Islam. Just what is the appeal of Islam, and why aren't such atrocities putting people off it? It would be good to get answers other than the usual "these terrorises aren't true Muslims", "they are only a small minority" etc.

Because as I said earlier many of these atrocities are carried out by people on the edge of society or a grudge against it in particular - frequently criminals - and here's another one although in this case not a convert to the religion
