Health Check

Ive been feeling under the weather for quite some time and I am now becoming worried about my health.I would like to have a complete healthcheck,but Im not sure where to go to have this done.I would like to have all the standard tests,but would also like to have x-rays taken.Do I go to my GP (who is not my ideal choice as he is very unsympathetic), but if I did, would I have to pay. Any suggestions would be most appreciated.

most of the bupa type firms would sell you a health check. If you are not happy with your gp then change gps. Ypou can only get stuff through the nhs if a doctor thinks you need it. Owing to the risk that radiation is not safe, you would be unlikely to getr xrays done on a standard health check unless something turned up to make this necessary
