Apart from thinking that policemen look younger, what makes you feel the weight of advancing years? For me, it is hearing a Slade song and realising it is 30 years old.

For me, it's mentioning the 'Robinson Crusoe' TV series to anyone over forty, and watching their eyes glaze over as they hear the theme music in their mind (over thirty-five readers will be hearing it now i fancy...)while anyone younger than that will have a puzzled look on their face, and wonder what on earth I'm talking about!
Wearing the same stuff that the kids today are wearing... in about 1975... and looking just as daft...
The answers in the question for me feeling the weight!!!
Realising that I would rather stay in at night!
Having bought an estate car to house my two Labradors and my 6 month old - having been tearing around for years on motorbikes.
This sounds strange, but I'd have to say new born babies! All my life I've only ever been a few years older than people - 10 years old, max. But my friend just had a baby and it dawned on me I'm twenty-one years older than her baby! I still can't get my head 'round it!Also, when the old drunken conversation of kids' TV crops up, if you're talking to people younger than you, they have no idea what programmes you're on about. And vice versa.
My first car is now a classic.
Mines being called 'Mrs'. That makes me feel old. Wouldn't mind, but I'm only 25!!
For me (nearly 30) its realising that some very famous and talented people are younger than me (e.g. David Beckham). I'm hardly old, but it used to be reassuring that those in the public eye had been around a bit longer than myself. Now these superstars just get younger by the minute!
Looking at clothes in M&S and thinking that some of them are actually quite nice. Scary!
knowing stuff about gardening and how to run a house...I'm turning into my parents!!

Today I found out that the president of the student union at the college I work at, was BORN in the same year I went to university (or Poly as it was then - another sign of age). Babies who have been born since I was an adult are now adults themselves!!
I probably shouldn't be answering this today... feeling a bit low (&old)... but I'm with andy h on the robinson c tune...also being pleased that the neighbours are quiet...wanting comfy clothes back on asap...& realising that the cute fella behind the counter is probably young enough to be my son! You 20 somethings are so lucky!
Dressing up warmly in the cold weather - without being told to.
When my knees go off like rifle shots whenever I get out of a chair or push the clutch pedal down in the car. Also, you can't find decent clothes to wear, you can't follow fashion but you look at the collection of shapeless, taupe coloured clothing on offer for your age group and think yyyyyuk has it really come to this (see my posting on the subject) I'm 50 by the way. bizzylizzy
Taking a whole day to get over a hangover AND buying shoes because they "look really comfy".
